United Way adds two new members to its Board of Control
COSHOCTON – The United Way of Coshocton County has added two new members to its Board of Control, Scott Muhleman and Jennifer Biggers.
Muhleman is a Coshocton native and has worked at AK Steel for 25 years and is their Corporate Manager of Engineering. He and his wife Tammy have two daughters, Megan and Danielle and have been long-time contributors of the United Way. In his spare time, Muhleman enjoys hunting, fishing, golf and traveling. He has served as a board member for Roscoe Rec and was involved with youth sports for 12 years.
Biggers is retired but her volunteer work in Coshocton continues. She and her husband Cliff have five children and 10 grandchildren. She has organized outreach for displaced Katrina flood victims, operated the homeless shelter and identified community resources for victims in Coshocton and surrounding counties. She has served on the city health board and has contributed to the United Way for years. In her spare time, she enjoys writing children’s books, poems and songs. She also enjoys walking, reading and exercise.
Because the United Way is a locally-governed board, its strength lies in the tremendous service the board provides giving hundreds of hours every year to ensure that donors’ hard-earned dollars are spent wisely and prudently.
