United Way has open house
COSHOCTON – On Friday, Aug. 8, United Way of Coshocton held an open house with a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate its new location at 402 Main St.
Attendees included board members, agency representatives, local dignitaries including Mayor Steve Mercer, Bruce Tague of Bob Gibbs Office and Dan Risko from Josh Mandel’s office.
United Way was previously located for 25 years in the Buckeye Building and with this new location being more visible they hope to remind residents that United Way is an option for their donation dollars.
United Way is getting ready to kick off its 2014-2015 campaign with the 10th annual Taste Of Coshocton on Thursday, Aug. 14 at Lake Park pavilion from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The corporate sponsor for this campaign is Jones Metal. There will be 17 local vendors there serving samples of foods from their menus. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door.
