United Way holds annual meeting to celebrate community impact
The United Way of Coshocton County held its annual meeting on Feb. 26 in the basement of Job and Family Services, to reflect on the organization’s accomplishments over the past year and discuss future initiatives.
During the meeting, United Way leadership highlighted the success of recent fundraising campaigns, community outreach efforts, and the impactful programs supported through the generosity of local donors. The event provided an opportunity to recognize key contributors and partner agencies that play a vital role in addressing the needs of Coshocton County residents.
“We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our community,” said Erin Slaughter, executive director of United Way of Coshocton. “Together, we are making a difference in the lives of individuals and families by funding essential programs that focus on education, financial stability, and health.”
The meeting also included the election of new board members and a discussion on upcoming initiatives for 2025. Attendees had the chance to engage in meaningful conversations about how United Way can continue to enhance its impact and address emerging challenges in the community.
Additionally, United Way announced its new corporate sponsors for the 2025/2026 campaign: Genesis Healthcare System and Hathaway, Inc. Their generous contributions will play a crucial role in supporting the organization’s mission and expanding its outreach efforts.
