Upcoming work at SR 16/SR 541 interchange

| May 15, 2018

COSHOCTON – On Thursday, May 17, temporary vandal fence will be placed on SR 541. For this work, one lane will be maintained by flaggers on the SR 541 bridge.

With the above work, the intersection at North Whitewoman Street and SR 541 will be changed to a four-way stop. The four-way stop will remain in place until deemed not needed for safe site distance.

Beginning Thursday, 2-way traffic will be shifted from the eastbound side of SR 541 bridge over Muskingum River to the westbound side for a week and a half. Once finished, it will be placed back on the eastbound side.

Eastbound traffic on SR 16 has been reduced to one lane (the outside driving lane). The westbound crossover that was to be put in place on Tuesday, May 15 has been delayed until the temporary vandal protection fence on SR 541 has been installed. This crossover will reduce westbound traffic to a single lane and cross traffic over to the eastbound side of the road.  This will occur the beginning of the week of May 21.

Dates are subject to change, weather permitting.
