Update in drug raid investigation

COSHOCTON – Two people are in custody after a search warrant was executed in the 1400 block of Chestnut St., Coshocton.

At approximately 5:47 p.m. on July 14, detectives from the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Coshocton County SRT, executed a search warrant at 1413 Chestnut St. An adult male and female were taken into custody and remain in the Coshocton County Justice Center.

Also taken in the raid of this suspected drug house were several drugs, cash, and a firearm.

On July 15, Chance A. Morgan, 25 years old and from the Coshocton area, and Eugene B. McCall, 63 years old and from the Coshocton area, were both charged with trafficking in cocaine, a felony of the second degree.

Assisting detectives were the Coshocton County SRT and the Coshocton County Prosecutor, Jason Given.

This incident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
