Veterans to be recognized at county track meet

COSHOCTON – On Wednesday, May 2, the River View High School varsity track teams will host the county meet with the Coshocton and Ridgewood varsity track teams. At approximately 5 p.m. the River View Athletic Department will recognize any veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces that are in attendance at the contest.

Any military veteran that attends the meet on May 2 will get in free to the contest and there will be a small ceremony for the veterans to honor them for their service to our country.

Jim Barstow of the Coshocton County Veterans Services office will be in attendance and assisting with the ceremony.
