Weaving workshops offered at Roscoe
The Roscoe Village Foundation will begin the winter series of weaving workshops. Each two hour workshop allows the participant to create their very own mug rug on a portable loom.
A $35 fee for nonmembers and $30 fee for members includes instructions and all materials. Workshops will take place on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. We will be offering these workshops again on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 8-9 at 10 a.m and 1:30 p.m. requirement is 10 years of age or older. To purchase tickets, go to https://roscoevillage.com/weaving-workshop/. You may call Angel at 740-622-7644 extension two for questions.
The art of weaving is an age-old art. Learn the history of weaving as you make your very own keepsake to take with you. This wonderful hands-on experience is made possible through a generous grant from the Simpson Family Foundation.
