Whitewoman Street bridge replacement announced

COSHOCTON – Coshocton County Engineer Frederick Wachtel announced that County Road 493 will be closed beginning Monday, April 17 for 75 days as crews begin a bridge replacement on County Road 493 (Whitewoman Street) in the City of Coshocton.

The work will force the closure of the road, just south of the Bob Evans Restaurant entrance on Whitewoman Street. Patrons to the Super 8 Hotel and Bob Evans Restaurant will be detoured to State Route 541 and south on Whitewoman Street. Motorists going to Signature Health Care and other businesses to the south will enter Whitewoman Street from the SR 16 entrance.

This project is in conjunction with the Coshocton County Engineer’s Office, Ohio Department of Transportation, and Federal Highway Administration. The prime contractor for the project is VO Menuez & Son, Inc.
