William “Bill” A. Doyle

William “Bill” A. Doyle, 100, of Coshocton passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025. at his home.

Bill was born in Akron, Ohio on December 24, 1924, to the late Leo F. and Mary I. (Hoffman) Doyle.

He served in the United States Army during WWII in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater earning a Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal, Victory Medal WWII Medal and Meritorius Unit Award.  Bill graduated from Akron University and he and his late wife Lila owned and operated Rand Associates in Coshocton for many years.  He loved to golf with his family and friends.  Bill also enjoyed Baseball, Softball and Basketball. was a member of the Toastmasters, American Legion, AMVETS and Coshocton Moose Lodge.

Bill is survived by his son William K. “Bill” Doyle of Zanesville; grandchildren Rachael Doyle of San Diego, CA, Marianne (Scott) Eickelberger of Thornville, OH, Gary (Shelly) West of Adams Mills, OH; great grandchildren Alisa Wilson; great great grandchildren Cassie Johnson and Jace Olver; great great great granddaughter Erica C. Hughes.

Along with is parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Lila M. Doyle whom he married September 11, 1949, Lila passed away on December 7, 2009; children Kathleen West, Karen McCracken and Kristine Green.

Graveside services will be held at South Lawn Cemetery at a later date  with Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard performing military honors.
