William ‘Bill’ Grubbs
COSHOCTON – William “Bill” Grubbs, 70, of Coshocton passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at home surrounded by his family after a brief illness. He was born in Coshocton on April 21, 1946 to the late Fremont “Pete” and Mary (Bachman) Grubbs.
Bill attended Sacred Heart School and was formerly employed by Pretty Products and Peabody Coal, where he worked as an underground miner. He was the owner/ operator of Bills Auto Sales and was currently a part-time driver for Jeff Drennen Dealership. Bill’s passion in life was cars, cars, cars, so he made a career out of them. He probably forgot more than most people will ever know about them, especially old ones.
Bill is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nancy (Lawver) Grubbs of Coshocton; son Jason William Grubbs of Coshocton; and his sidekick “Buddy”
Along with his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his sister Eleanor Neff.
Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday April 21, 2017 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM with a memorial service beginning at 1:00PM with Pastor James Reed officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions can be directed towards Church of Christ and Christian Union, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
