William “Bill” Lee McMillen
COSHOCTON – William “Bill” Lee McMillen, age 79, of Coshocton, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017.
Bill was born in Coshocton on October 18, 1938 to the late Edgar “Mac” and June (Allen) McMillen. Bill graduated from Coshocton High School and went on to work for many years at Edmont Wilson. On September 19, 1959, he married Nancy (Johnson) McMillen, who survives. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist and the Coshocton Sportsman’s Club. William enjoyed spending his times with his rabbit dogs and his horses. He liked talking to people and never met a stranger.
Along with his wife, Nancy, Bill is survived by his daughters, Teresa (Mike Ransom) McMillen Brenning and Lisa (Kent) Porch, five grandchildren: Joshua (Emily) Brenning, Amber (Zach) Smith, Ashley (Ryan Doutt) Brenning, Jessica (Cody) Stickdorn, and Christopher (Deana) Porch; nine great-grandchildren: Braden, Liam, Greyson, and Bennett Brenning, Truxton and Kannan Smith, Addilyn Doutt, and Aiden and Leo Stickdorn; and one niece and one nephew.
Calling hours for Bill will be held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. and on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Reverend Keith Peachey officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Garden.
