WebsterWARSAW – William Earl “Bill” Webster I, 69, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at his residence.

He was born Aug. 24, 1946 in Columbus to the late Jack Richard Webster and Nellie Elizabeth (Brown) Rogers.  He married Donna J. “Pete” (Powell) Webster on Feb. 28, 1976.  She preceded him in death on Nov. 26, 2004.  He  was the owner and operator of Blue Goose Carryout from 1991-2007.  He was a member of the Local 98 Sheet Metal Workers Union, and the American Legion. He enjoyed playing golf, poker, and watching college football, especially his beloved Buckeyes.

He is survived by a daughter, Darla (Steve) Weatherwax; two sons, William E. Webster II and Perry (Tracy) Webster, all of Warsaw; three grandchildren, Amanda Weatherwax, William E. Webster III, and Conner Webster; two sisters, Sheila Thornton of Texas, and Loia Petway of Rushville; two brothers, Jack (Bev) Webster of Galena, and Lou (Sharon) Rogers of Georgia; one aunt, Charlotte (Bob) Dunn of Westerville; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by an infant brother; and his step-father, Clyde Rogers.

Calling hours will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. A private family service will be held at a later date. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
