The Pomerene Center is sometimes mistakenly called the “Pomeranian” Center. To capitalize on this fun pronunciation, we organized a virtual dog show where all dogs could enter and be a “Pom.”

The winner of the contest is Rudy. Rudy is a 7-year-old Pomeranian who thinks he is a human boy and is very social. He shares his home with Robin Glasure of Coshocton.

Rudy will reign as the 2020 POM Pom mascot through April 2021. Once events and gatherings resume, expect to see him out representing the Pomerene. Meanwhile, stay tuned to the Pomerene Center’s Facebook page for more adventures of Rudy.

The Pomerene thanks all entries and finalists, Oz and Tilly who will each receive a custom-made collar tag. Thanks also to our judges, Mayor Mark Mills, Janelle Given and Brad Fuller who, in addition to judging, sponsored the winning prize of a Good Boy Bakery gift basket.
